ROK - Return of Kindness
Return of Kindness (ROK) is the name I give to my passion project – an initiative where I volunteer my skills to help others. As a part of this project, I have worked to aid environmentally conscious businesses in third world countries to establish themselves online.
When travelling I find myself making new friends all the time, and quite often they are local, hard-working folk who are passionate about local wildlife and the environment. I take the time to learn more about their work, lives, and environmental goals and leverage my web and photography skills to bring their businesses to a wider audience – at no cost to them.
The joy that comes when I visit them again and see how their businesses have flourished, how their communities have benefited, and how the environment has been protected is a wonderful reward.
