It was a fair distance from the stage, some 40m back near the sound desk. Ouch. Unfortunately most of us only had our 200mm lens and extenders, it was dark and we had only 2 songs to do our best, then we were led out of the venue… The older crowd appeared to be in full swing early as Mick Hucknall began singing old favourites.
